Posted 16th April 2005 08:04 | | | Tonight I received an email from support concerning a problem I was having signing on to ShadowGame Client. I did receive an email with my email address and password. There was no 'key'. Right now I'm trying to figure out if I ever had one. When I click on Email My Account Details in the Preferences Section, I don't get the key.
I also get the Error above for 'unspecified error communicating with the ShadowCente Server. I followed the instructions in your firewall video for Norton and everything there is permitted.
I thought I had registered here in the forum, but I guess not. I registered again tonight. |
| Posted 16th April 2005 09:55 | | | Hi there, This could be SP2 also. Does it come up with the error imediately? I'm guessing it does. A good plan is to disable all of the blocking stuff you have and get it to work, then add them back one by one and you can see what is blocking it. We are trying to work out what this is. If you send your error.log to the support account @ gameshadow.com then we'll have a look. TT |
| Posted 16th April 2005 23:29 | | | This problem has been resolved by someone else at support,(Mark). He found that my subscription records didn't get set up right. He said he didn't know why. He fixed the problem and now my ShadowGame Client works.

By the way, you have excellent support. I have never experienced support that works this fast or anyone who takes an interest this quick. Thanks again.
