I have just bought imperial glory a week ago...I. ve just beginning with the whole matter, hwn, for another reasons, i must clean up the hard disc, so I re-install the whole OS home XP, and I re-install the game again: well It results in a garbled text from the first screen it looks like a web design in text...(HTLM)

I am not quite sure what sort of support you are requesting but GameShadow only provides the patches not support for the game itself.  That is unless a forum member knows the answer!
