| | Unlike Vbulletin, InstantASP based forums do not provide any auto-subscription based logic to topics that you start / respond to (at the moment).
There are alternative options available to you:
1. Use the RSS feature - has anyone tried this yet?
2. When you start / reply to a topic, go the bottom of the page before submitting. There is a drop down menu titled 'Topic Subscription Notification Type' defaulted to 'Do not subscribe'. This can be changed to either 'No Email Notification (just add to list)' or 'Immediate Notification of New Posts by Email'. Not really sure of the point of the first one but its there.
3. Rather than taking the potentially unnecessary steps of replying to each topic you might want to get notification on, you can always use the 'Topic Options' button at the top of the topic. You can then 'Subscribe to Topic' which brings up the same choices as noted in point
4. Finally, you can subscribed to the each forum, following the same instructions as point 3 ('Forum Options' rather than 'Topic Options'). There are 21 to subscribe to and you do have to do each one seperately!!
