Posted 1st December 2005 12:13 | | | | GameShadow has singled out the following patch as a critical update: Nvidia GeForce 6800 Fix Even though I have an ATI Radeon I thought I'd install it any way to keep things "tidy". This was a mistake. It did not install correctly and had weird side-effects such as removing the Prince Of Persia image from the desktop shortcut, although the now-blank shortcut still worked. I just reinstalled the game to fix this. Two questions: :: I assume I don't even need this patch - am I right? :: How do I get rid of this, so I am not constantly being told there is a critical update for this game. And if I can do this, what happens if a "genuine" critical update comes along at a later date? Please help! |
