This probably going to sound like a Microsoft plug but its not, honest!

I have been using this of late and it is rather good - if a little buggy.

Go here to download Messenger Live Beta and here to download the Windows Live Toolbar which includes addins such as Anti-Phishing technology and tabbed browsing.

I've had problems with IE crashing when closed. I think this is down to the pop-up blocker. Only use one is the advice so either turn off your existing one or don't use the live pop-up blocker.

I do like the new version of MSN Live Messenger, the GUI is very nice.

I'm a little sceptical about the rest though.

I beta tested OneCare Live, at one point it kept telling me there was a virus reappearing in my temp directory. Complete crap. So I got shot of it. Alien
