My lad recently got this game...love's it!!!

Problem is he wants to play it via a controller as he's not fast enough with the keysboard.

We've tried to set up a basic USB joypad/PS3 sixaxis via usb/ and a PS2 controller via usb converter... NONE will work (and in the game OPTIONS, the joystick is ENABLED...

Our most recent (and failed) effort involved trying to set the controllers up with PinnacleGameProfiler - 2 complicated for me - Oh, and the PC (Notebook) recognises all of the aforementioned pads and allows calibration etc. 

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
