I too am having a similar problem. It started right after my latest update (to version 2.5.0). My first error dialog has the title "Error 76 Occurred" and the message reads "Game Shadow has experienced an error. Please contact technical support if the problem persists. Path not found."

When I press "Ignore" the frames in the next browser come up with "This program cannot display the webpage" in the lower left frame and "Navigation to the webpage was canceled" in the right.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few times now and had the same issue every time. I'd hate to think I have to give up, remove the app and walk away but in it's current state Game Shadow is useless to me. Is there a fix for this?

Regards,

Tim

Hi guys, what happens if you go into the registry and delete the whole GameShadow key from HK_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software ?

Try that, but be careful and do a system restore point first.

Let me know if that fixes it for you.

Sadly no, it didn't help. Though the error message changed slightly to "GameShadow has experienced an error. Please contact technical support if the problem persists. Path not found."

Looks like I'm gonna uninstall for good. Too bad, I liked this tool when it worked.

Regards,

Tim

I deleted the registry entry as well and it did not work.  I got the same message as Tim.

I think i will also uninstall this tool if this is the latest version.

I am getting the same error on my Puter....Vista 32 (upgrade) i cannot get it to work, i really need it.

I tried the registry idea but it will not work , so, i reinstalled it again.

what do i do? i have deleted, installed, deleted, installed several times now. Please help. ALSO...No icons either. If i had an icon installed on desk top, i could of changed it to run as Windows XP...That might of worked.

Jo, please contact me personally at tony (at ) gameshadow.com. Send me your error log file from the gameshadow\data directory.

We can also try a remote session and I can look.
