Posted 26th February 2007 22:19 | | | After much soul searching I finally pulled my finger out a ordered the components for a new PC. In my profession it helps to know your way around Windows, Office and their quirks so in light of the fact that my current gaming rig has had its day this is what I went for:- ASUSTeK P5N32-E SLI PLUS nForce 680i SLI mobo
- Intel PentiumD 935 3.0GHz LGA775
- 4GB 667MHz DDR2 RAM
- 4x Western Digital Caviar RAID Edition Hard Disk Drive 250Gb (To be run in RAID 0+1)
- 2x Asustek VGA EN7900GS TOP/2DHT/256M PCIe GF7900GS (SLI)
- Antec TruePower Trio 650W ATX PSU SLI Compatible
- Antec Nine Hundred/Ultimate Gamer Case
- Logitech G5 Laser Mouse
- Logitech G15 Keyboard
- Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate
- Microsoft Office 2007 Standard
Hopefully Oblivion will run a little better!
