Posted 13th March 2007 15:05 | | | I got fed up with Creative. Their software is bloated to the eyeballs and their support is shocking. I just stuck with what came with the mobo. I'd consider an alternative sound card supplier if anyone has any ideas?High Definition Audio | SupremeFX Audio Card - ADI 1988B 8-channel High Definition Audio CODEC - Support Jack-Sensing, Multi-streaming and Jack-Retasking Coaxial, Optical S/PDIF out DTS® Connect |

| Posted 13th March 2007 15:24 | | | Is there an alternative? I guess more and more people are sticking with the 5.1, 6.1, 7.1, 8.1 promises of onboard sound, despite the CPU load . . .

This card was an early release and was quickly replaced by the 320MB and by the time you can afford a second one the 640MB might be discontinued. Unless you are planning to push above 1600 x 1200 then the 320MB will more than meet your needs and save you a few quid
